Erica and Eric have set the date!

Eric and I have decided to marry on November 17th, 2009.
We will be tying the knot at the Mon Bel Ami Chapel in Las Vegas, NV at 6:00 p.m.
Invitations will be sent out to everyone so be sure to give me your mailing addresses.
You can email me at erica.shumway@gmail.com, call me at (520)220-6275, or write to me on Facebook.
Eric and I are doing well. We just moved from our apartment into a 2-bed, 2-bath manufactured home in the country. It so cute! We live on 40 acres (owned by our landlord) and have no neighbors for miles to the east of us.
I will post some pics soon.
Love you all,
Erica

Erica's Idaho Christmas 2008

Bubba is getting so big! It was so fun to spend time with him and Melanie, as well as the Havens family this last Christmas! It is just so amazing to see my little nephew growing and learning...he is such a smart little guy...and very independant. He loves to stand at the sink with the water running and brush his teeth. He looks at himself in the mirror and giggles. He did this for at least 20 minutes or so one day while up in Idaho. It was soooo cute!

He really enjoyed singing into the microphone...Megan got a karaoke machine for Christmas...when she and I were singing with it, Bubba kept taking the mic and would sing and dance. I think he may turn out to be a pretty good singer!
Well, that's it for now!
Love,
Erica

Erica Still Lives!

Wow, sorry its taken so long for me to get anything on here, but I just barely got the internet in my apartment. Yay!! No more waiting for a computer at the library!!
I'm doing well down here in Sierra Vista, Arizona. I am currently living in a cute, but tiny apartment with my soon-to-be hubby Eric Waltz. He and I are madly in love and to answer your question, no...we have not set a date yet, but it will most likely be within the year. He's extremely talented with anything mechanical, such as repairing printers, faxes, and copy machines. He's got an excellent musical ear and is an experienced DJ (he DJed at Bogey's in Cleafield, UT back in 2000). We are both currently working at Pizza Hut. I make the pizzas and he delivers them :) Its actually pretty fun and he makes really good money in tips alone. He was working at a printer repair shop when we first moved here, but they couldn't give him enough work, so that's when he started the Pizza Hut job. He is now working on building up clientelle for his own printing repair business.
We just bought a new truck that we are excited about! I've never owned a truck before.
It's a 2005 GMC Canyon and we took it up in the moutains and did a little off-roading. That's where the pics were taken.
Anyway, I love you all and I will try and keep everybody up to date.
Love,
Erica

Engaged

Hi Family!!! Like Josh before me, I would like to publicly announce to you all that I am engaged!!!!! My boyfriend flew out to see me from Colorado on Christmas day to take me on a date. We went to the Grand America Hotel for a beautiful Christmas buffet, and then he took me to Temple Square. He asked me to marry him in front of the reflection pool in the middle of a crazy insane blizzard!!! It was amazing!

Anyway. The wedding is at the Salt Lake Temple on May 15, 2009. The ceremony is at 9:40 am and all of you who are endowed are invited to come to the ceremony! The rest of you are absolutely invited to the reception! :D If you can in any way make it, we would loooove to have you all there! I obviously don't have any main details yet, but you will all be getting announcements and invitations in the mail when the time gets closer :) I love you and hope you are all doing well! Happy New Year!!! :)
